Rosemary Tincture (memory, cognition, brain fog support)
Rosemary tincture is famous as an herb for remembrance, from the most subtle to the dense. We can ask rosemary to be a part of our lives when we want to remember and honor our past and those who came before us.
We can also ask rosemary for help when we quite literally need help remembering things in our daily lives. Where did my keys? Why can´t I find my phone…again? Let´s help our brains out with rosemary.
For an extended period of time a few years ago, I used rosemary tincture to help clear issues I was having with consistent brain fog. It really helped to facilitate clearer thinking and a brighter mind.
Rosemary is a highly aromatic herb and as a mint family plant, it is anti-spasmodic. You can relieve digestive upset, cramps and even headaches with the tincture or tea.
Rosemary´s high volatile oil content (the reason why it is so aromatic), also makes it a great herb to burn as a smudge. It´s antimicrobial properties can clear stagnant air.
Of course rosemary also appears in the kitchen. Her presence in broths, soups and chicken dishes makes our food taste good. ¡Food is medicine!
Suggested usage and dosage for fresh rosemary tincture:
Take 5 - 15 drops in a cup of water once a day. It is nice to take rosemary around the time of your meditation. You can really feel its effect on the brain.
If you have a particular heavy bout of brain fog you can take it several times a day throughout the day as needed, for a brighter and clearer mind.
